Our crews will arrive and “pack out” contents from your customer’s home or business. The contents of each room will be digitally photographed, inventoried, and boxed in new packaging & materials. Large items, such as furniture, will be tagged and barcoded.

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz takes the utmost care in packing and tracking contents. We also note and photograph visible pre-existing damage that was not a result of the loss. Once packed, our movers will transport the contents to our facility where they will be stored and processed through our Cleaning and Finishing Departments if necessary.

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz does not handle personal items such as money, cremation ashes, and other personal artifacts. Please be sure to identify personal items before our arrival and store them if possible. If personal items are discovered during pack out, they will be packaged, marked as personal items, and left on-site for your clients.

Contents will be stored in our secured warehouse until repairs to your client’s home or other structure are complete. Depending on the extent of structural damage, it may be some time before contents can be delivered back. As repairs to the property are nearly complete, we ask that you provide us with updates to coordinate a timely delivery. Please be sure to contact Blue Kangaroo Packoutz at least 2 weeks before the requested delivery date to ensure a place on our delivery schedule.

During the restoration process, while your client’s contents are in our facility, they can be retrieved as necessary when needed. We’re happy to assist you throughout the process.

The delivery of contents back to the dwelling is called the “pack back.” Our crews unpack everything and place them back in their originating location using information gathered from the packout.

An estimator from our team assesses your client’s contents, advises you of how we can serve you, and receives your work authorization. Your estimator will be your primary point of contact with us. A project administrator is also assigned to you who oversees in-house management of customer jobs, working in tandem with the estimator to maintain effective workflow management. Should your estimator not be available, please call our office and ask for your project administrator.

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz specializes in restoring items damaged by fire, smoke, water, mold, vandalism, and more. Each situation and item is assessed to determine the best restoration approach.

We offer both on-site restoration and off-site restoration services depending on the extent of damage and the type of items needing restoration.

We use a detailed inventory management system, climate-controlled facilities, and secure storage spaces to ensure items are safe throughout the restoration process.

Most homeowners’ and renters’ insurance policies cover restoration services. We work closely with your insurance provider to help simplify the claims process.

In most cases, the costs are covered by insurance. If applicable, we will provide detailed billing for reimbursement or direct payment.

This depends on your insurance provider and policy. It’s best to discuss this directly with your insurance company.

If the loss is covered by insurance, the insurance company will provide the funds to cover our services. Many times, insurance companies will pay us directly. However, there are times when insurance companies issue payment to the insured and it is then their responsibility to pay us.

After packing out belongings, they are transported to our secure facility, where they undergo cleaning, restoration, and safe storage until they are ready for return.

Pack-back includes delivering and carefully reinstalling restored items to their original locations.

The timeline varies based on the severity of damage and the number of items involved. We provide an estimated timeline after the initial assessment.
