Why Is Continuing Education (CE) Program Necessary?
Every insurance agent is required to complete a certain number of continuing education (CE) credits as a condition to renew their license. Most states require agents to complete their insurance CE every 1 to 2 years for their license to be kept active. These courses are designed to enhance, refresh, and improve the agent’s knowledge of the insurance industry, issues facing the industry, and particular topics within insurance. The overall goal of the Continuing Education (CE) Program is to provide better service to consumers by having an ethical, knowledgeable sales force.
