How do you determine which items can be restored?

During the initial assessment, our technicians evaluate each item’s material, damage type, and replacement value. Salvageable items are prioritized for specialized contents cleaning and repair, while non-restorable items are documented for insurance purposes.

What types of damage does Blue Kangaroo Packoutz handle?

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz specializes in restoring items damaged by fire, smoke, water, mold, and more. Each situation and item is assessed to determine the best restoration approach.

What cleaning methods do you use?

We use industry-leading, minimally invasive techniques such as ultrasonic cleaning, ozone deodorization, HEPA vacuuming, and specialized textile and electronics restoration. Our team considers the item’s material and level of damage to determine which method is safest and most effective.

How long does the cleaning & restoration process take?

The timeline varies based on the severity of the damage and the number of items involved. Once we perform our initial assessment, our team provides an estimated timeline. We always strive to have personal belongings back to your client in time for them to reoccupy the home or property.

What happens after the contents cleaning & restoration process is completed?

Once all items have been fully cleaned and restored, they are carefully re-inventoried and stored in our climate-controlled storage facilities until your client’s property is ready for their return. Our team will coordinate with you and your client to schedule the final delivery (or packback) of contents to their original location in the home or property.
