We had a house fire in late October 2025. It was completely devastating and the situation was incredibly confusing. Much of what wasn’t burned was covered in wet insulation and the process of going in to inventory and assess our damaged items was nearly impossible. Blue Kangaroo was recommended to me by a colleague who lost a house in a tornado and it was the best decision we’ve made in this process. Phyllis and her team are unbelievably responsive and incredibly accurate, documenting every item as they find it and assessing its salvageability. They were able to restore a number of items that we considered completely lost to almost brand new condition. They also helped work directly with insurance on contents benefits and to help cover services that the insurance company at first denied (such as packing and moving items to a rental property and back). I cannot recommend their services enough. In an incredibly stressful situation, you definitely want them on your side regardless of the calamity you’re enduring. Hide Full Review

This group is OUTSTANDING! I can’t say enough about them. We had to move our furniture & things from our basement offsite for repairs. Phyllis came with her team and packed everything up. I thought they did an amazing job the first time they came, professional, great personalities, really took care of our stuff and our house, very neat, methodical and organized too! The second time Phyllis and her husband Alfred came with their team to bring everything back, they blew us away! They reconstructed everything the way it was when it left!! They meticulously put everything back the way it was from pictures and codes on the boxes room by room. Unbelievable talent and passion for what they do!!! Phyllis Otoo from Blue Kangaroo was wonderful to work with. She was always early with her crew to the site, responded immediately to questions, texts and emails, and stayed till 5 pm regardless of hot or wet weather.
