What happens if certain items are beyond repair?

While our team strives to restore all salvageable items to their pre-loss condition, we compile a total loss inventory of all unsalvageable items to help streamline the claims process. During the cleaning process, we sometimes discover that certain items are not salvageable. These items are swiftly added to the Total Loss Inventory report for insurance purposes.

How are my client’s belongings kept safe and organized in storage?

While in our care, all salvageable contents are housed in a climate-controlled, secure facility. To ensure your client’s belongings are accounted for at all times, each item is barcoded and stored in a designated area of our warehouse to keep contents organized and protect against damage and theft.

How long can items remain in storage?

Your client’s belongings can remain in storage for as long as is needed for structural repairs to the home or property. Depending on the extent of the damage, this can be anywhere from a few weeks to several months. As repairs to the property are nearly complete, we are in communication with all materially interested parties to coordinate a timely delivery.

Is there a waiting period between the restoration process and the packback process?

This largely depends on the extent of the structural damage and the type and quantity of salvageable contents involved, but there is typically a brief waiting period between the completion of the restoration process and the start of the packback process. As structural repairs are nearly complete, we are in communication with all materially interested parties to coordinate a timely delivery.
