Who are the involved parties in this process?

An estimator from our team assesses your client’s contents, advises you on how we can serve you, and receives your work authorization. Your estimator will be your primary point of contact with us. A project manager, who oversees in-house management of customer jobs, is also assigned to you. Your project administrator works in tandem with the estimator to maintain effective workflow management. If your estimator is not available, please call our office and ask for your project administrator.

How do you determine which items can be restored?

During the initial assessment, Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Fresno County technicians evaluate each item’s material, damage type, and replacement value. Salvageable items are prioritized for specialized contents cleaning and repair, while non-restorable items are documented for insurance purposes.

What happens if certain items are beyond repair?

While our team strives to restore all salvageable items to their pre-loss condition, we compile a total loss inventory of all unsalvageable items to help streamline the claims process. During the cleaning process, we sometimes discover that certain items are not salvageable. These items are swiftly added to the Total Loss Inventory report for insurance purposes.

Does the insured or the insurance company pay for this?

Most homeowners’ and renters’ insurance policies cover restoration services. Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Fresno County works closely with insurance providers and other involved parties to help simplify the claims process.
